Thursday, 25 May, saw the opening of FARAWAY, SO CLOSE - 25th Biennial of Design (BIO 25) curated by Angela Rui and Maja Vardjan. This edition of BIO presents an exhibition at the Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO) and installations on seven locations across Slovenia - at Rožni studenec in Kočevje, in Trbovlje, in Mayor’s cave near Grosuplje, in Kobarid, in Genterovci near Lendava, at Monfort in the municipality of Piran and Ljubljana. BIO is the oldest designs in the world and this year marks the first time that is has left the walls of the museum and roamed into different countrysides.
